Career Week will be January 15-22, 2016
This is our 4th annual Career Week. Each Day will hold something special for our students. Below are all of the
activities. Your child’s participation is voluntary.
Friday- Students will complete a Career Interest Inventory and pick a career they would like to pursue
Monday- MLK Holiday
Tuesday- Students will research their chosen career. Students will determine what it takes to begin their career of choice.
Wednesday- “Dress for Success!” Today students may dress in Interview Attire. This is the clothing they might wear to a
job interview. They will also fill out a job application for the job of their choice.
Thursday- Today is Career Dress up Day. Students may dress up in the clothing they would wear for their chosen career.
Friday- College Day! Students may wear a shirt or the colors of the college or technical they would like to attend after high
school graduation. Please wear uniform pants. 5th Grade Career Day! The 5th grade students will be visited by people from
various careers during the day. They will have the chance to ask questions and interact with the representatives from different career fields.
