The Macon County School System Board of Education approved the appointment of Ms. Bunkley as a district Teaching & Learning Coordinator during the called board meeting held on May 26, 2026.
Ms. Bunkley currently serves as assistant principal at Macon County Elementary School and has been a dedicated member of the MCSS family since 2008. Throughout her career with the district, she has served in several important roles, including middle school teacher, instructional coach beginning in 2017, and assistant principal since 2022.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education, a master’s degree in Adult Education and Training, and a specialist degree in Educational Leadership.
The district looks forward to Ms. Bunkley’s continued leadership and commitment to supporting teaching and learning across Macon County School System.
